12 Week Year Field Guide

In a previous blog post, I shared about building a second brain. You can read more about that here.

In that post, I share how I am journaling my key takeaways from the books I am currently reading. I decided to take another step and create a digital journal to share a summary and key takeaways from each book.

Summary

"The 12 Week Year Field Guide" by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington is a companion to the book “The 12 Week Year.” It can be used as a stand-alone resource but is better used along with the 12 Week Year book. The 12 Week Year is a productivity and goal-setting book that challenges the conventional annual planning cycle. The authors advocate for breaking down the traditional 12-month year into 12-week cycles, allowing individuals and organizations to set and achieve ambitious goals more effectively. "The 12 Week Year Field Guide" is a practical tool to help you execute the 12 week system, through a condensed yet actionable summary of the 12-week planning and goal-setting methodology. The guide includes prompts, templates, and instructions to help readers implement the system. The emphasis is on application, guiding individuals through the process of creating a personalized 12-week plan, fostering accountability, and optimizing productivity. Overall, the field guide is designed to be a practical companion for readers looking to actively engage with and apply the principles outlined in "The 12 Week Year."
